Whale Watching Free Cross Stitch Pattern

This pattern is great for beginners. It is a solid and simple pattern with no half-stitches.

This pattern looks great when stitched with a single color on brightly colored fabric, or stitched with variegated floss on a single color fabric. Colors may be substituted to suit your needs, or use what you have on hand. The only back stitching done was around the eye of the whale.

The number of stitches in the chart are 40 x 40.

The chart is shown stitched with 2 strands of black DMC floss on 11 count aida fabric, and measures around 3-1/2" (8.9 cm) in diameter. If stitched on 14 count fabric, the design should measure just under 3" (7.2 cm) in diameter.
